Elton may include pieces from his controversial U.S. multimedia show when he tours Australia in December.
That's what the Herald Sun claimed on October 28, 2006.
The headliner's lavish Las Vegas production features cinematic images of suicide, nudity and domestic violence. But the show, which incorporates neon signs, inflatable props and film backdrops, also centres on the theme of love.
Red Piano director David LaChapelle said, "This is basically a visual extravaganza. I wanted it to sparkle and shine and be lush. Almost edible, like looking at a candy store."
As for Australia, tour promoter Michael Chugg said details were being finalised.
"It is a greatest hits show with elements of The Red Piano," Chugg explained. "They are still working through it."
He expects 25 minutes of Red Piano content to be included in Elton 's Australian tour.
And of course, there will be plenty of hits, such as Philadelphia Freedom and Your Song.
Elton performs at Rod Laver Arena on December 3 and 8.
