EJ Classic to Help Charity

Tuesday 28 November 2006 @ 15:52 - GMT

Yesterday in the UK, a new album was released, which will benefit five charities: the NSPCC, The Disability Foundation, Moorfields Eye Hospital (the Richard Desmond Eye Centre), Vision and Norwood Children & Families First.

It's called A Whole New World, a compilation of duets by Peter Andre and his wife, Katie Price.

Besides covering the likes of Lionel Richie and Kool And The Gang, they also do Elton and Kiki Dee's Don't Go Breaking My Heart.

As for the title track, this was originally on Disney's Aladdin soundtrack with music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Tim Rice. Katie and Peter performed it on Children In Need last year.

Although there was a big demand for a single, they wanted to produce more, so over the last year they carefully selected a number of love songs and upbeat numbers to record.
