Elton is selling two of his pianos, and they could fetch 80,000 pounds ($158,000) at a London sale next month, according to Bonhams.
A Steinway burr-maplewood piano that the star used to rehearse Don't Go Breaking My Heart with Kiki Dee at his Windsor home in 1976 is expected to fetch up to 45,000 pounds. The duet was Elton's first UK No.1 and his sixth chart topper in the U.S.
The other instrument, a similar type, is black. It was made in 1972 for his Beverly Hills residence and an esestimate of 25,000 pounds to 35,000 pounds.
The pianos will be included in the Bonhams June 18 Entertainment sale at its Knightsbridge auction rooms.
The lots also include a Versace boiler suit, previously worn by Elton.
In scarlet cotton with yellow collar and pocket flaps, five-button front, labelled ''Gianni Versace Made In Italy,'' it will be sold together with a copy of the CD One Night Only--The Greatest Hits (the back cover and booklet featuring this outfit, plus two signed photographs of Elton wearing the outfit).
