Sun City consists of three hotels.

The grandest is the 338-room Palace, where Elton has stayed. He was at the resort to perform, accompanied by his band and parents, when Stephen Templeton was the Exececutive Chef at Sun City.

Besides cooking for the likes of Elton and Sting, Stephen has catered for Nelson Mandela on several occasions, from the huge inaugaration luncheon to several of his birthdays.

Now Templeton and his wife own the Four Oaks, a four-star guesthouse in Montagu.

There's also a restaurant, where the chef has designed a contemporary take on slow cooked bistro food. Stephens philosophy is  that "food and beverage is a lifestyle" and should be enjoyed as a memory. Dining, he believes, is not only about the food but of the holistic experience.

Their product won the prestigious Eat Out Top 20 Restaurants in South Africa in late 2007.
