This is one of the oldest beach clubs in the area. It is run by Patrice de Colmont. His father, Bernard de Colmont, an explorer and documentary filmmaker, opened the club in 1955 as an informal canteen for Brigitte Bardot, Roger Vadim and the rest of the cast and crew of the movie And God Created Woman, being filmed nearby.
In later years, Bono, Paris Hilton and Penélope Cruz have visited.
