EJW readers are familiar with Ray Cooper because of his work with the Rocket Man.
But he has also been involved in cinema for many years.
The percussionist has been a producer and performer in some of Terry Gilliam's movies.
In fact, in 2002, Cooper was a major part of a documentary celebrating George Harrison's music. He co-produced Concert For George, which included performances from Cooper himself, Tom Petty and Billy Preston, and which won two honours at 2004's Surround Music Awards.
More recently, on the 25th of February, he attended the world premiere of Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland. He is seen below, alongside Johnny Depp at the afterparty at London's Sanderson Hotel.
