Less than a week after his final show in the USA, Elton continues his Solo Piano Tour in Europe. He kicked off this tour leg with a 2 3/4hours open air concert in Ludwigslust, Germany, on June 25, 1999.
The songs performed in Europe were more or less the same as during the US leg of his Solo Tour, however, Elton dropped Talking Old Soldiers (replaced by Live Like Horses), Blessed, Can You Feel The Love Tonight and Recover Your Soul. On his second night in Germany in Halle's Gerry Weber Stadium (famous for tennis tournaments) he added Something About
The Way You Look Tonight, but didn't play Written In The Stars.
The tour will continue with more shows in Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain and the UK. While more shows are likely to be added, it is expected that this tour leg will run until late July.
