Elton will visit Krakow on November 5 as part of his Follow the Yellow Brick Road tour, which celebrates the 40th anniversary of his Goodbye Yellow Brick Road album.
The double album includes hits such as Saturday Night's Alright (For Fighting) and Candle in the Wind, although the tunesmith will also perform tracks from throughout his career.
Elton has played Poland six times, beginning in Gdansk in 1984, when he saw to it that a bouquet of flowers was delivered by hand to Solidarity leader Lech Walesa.
Construction on the Krakow Arena began in May 2011. It is designed to host a capacity of up to 18,000 people, depending on the type of event.
Tickets for Elton's show will be available starting the 4th of June.
