Sure Plays a Mean Football: The EJAF Announces a World Cup-Related Contest And The Cancellation of a Summer Fundraiser

Written by Chief Editor.

Elton's charity believes they've proved the power of football can help create an AIDS free future. Over the last 20 years the EJAF has worked with some of the biggest names in the game including Emmanuel Adebayor, David Beckham and Gary Neville.

So the organisation is celebrating the World Cup by offering folks a chance to win some football memorabilia:

- One 2007/08 Barcelona kit signed by Thierry Henry

- Three 2007/08 Barcelona training shirts autographed by Henry

- One 2007/08 Arsenal training kit signed by Emmanuel Adebayor

- One 2005 FA Pennant bearing the signatures of Rio Ferdinand, Gary Neville and David James

Six winners will be selected.  Winners will be notified by email by 4 p.m. on Monday, July 14. To enter and learn more, please visit http://london.ejaf.org.

Meanwhile, the foundation has decided to give the White Tie and Tiara Ball a break. But two alternative fundraisers, including a garden party at Elton's home in September, are planned instead.
