Keith Witham, of St Raphael's Hospice, has told Eltonjohnworld.com about a successful benefit which featured two tribute acts.
He says: ''We have had an Open Air fundraiser for some years being a "Picnic in the Park" style event in Nonsuch Park, Cheam, with an ABBA tribute band. This year, on July 10, there was an additional performer, an Elton John Tribute called Ultimate Elton.''
The event was attended by just over 1,500 people and will make a net profit for St Raphael's of about £15,000. Other information about the hospice is on www.straphaels.org.uk.
