Operation Change, on the Oprah Winfrey Network, is halfway through the season. The second part of the series kicks off with a special two-episode evening on August 4.
First, the team will visit South Africa with Richard Branson and Virgin Unite. Immediately following, it's time to travel to Malaysia to work with Elton, Manny Pacquiao, and Jessica Sanchez.
This Web site previously ran a piece in which executive producer Steven Sawalich spoke about Elton.
He said: ''In the Philippines we were outfitting people with hearing devices, and a lot of them had never heard sound before. We were fitting one girl with a hearing aid for the first time. Elton John started singing to her, and her eyes were so wide. She had never experienced sound before, so to hear a song from Elton John, that was an incredible experience.''
He added that the rock vocalist, who was in casual attire, is ''a genuine and heartwarming guy.''
Turn in for Elton's episode at 9 p.m. CT this Monday night, on the heels of Richard Branson's (at 8 p.m. CT).
