Silverstone Auctions are proud to announce that a right-hand drive, 2014 Bentley Continental GT Speed is being offered directly from Sir Elton's private collection.

The rock veteran took delivery of the car in June 2014 and eventually passed it on to David Furnish, in April 2015.

The car is finished in Onyx Black and sits on (recently refurbished) 21” Speed Alloys with a Dark Tint finish. The interior hides, both primary and secondary, are in Beluga with Hotspur Red contrasting stitching, the carpets are also Beluga and there are Carbon Fibre fascia panels.

The Bentley has covered just over 21,000 miles in the hands of its two famous owners. It is accompanied by a comprehensive service history, the details of which are in the owner's file with the service booklets which show various stamps from Bentley Berkshire and H.A Fox in Guildford.

The vehicle heads for auction at Warwickshire's Silverstone Classic next month--July 21-22. It's been estimated at £70,000 - £80,000.

Meanwhile, a bespoke McLaren 570S Spider that was donated to the Elton John AIDS Foundation’s Argento Ball has been won by an anonymous bidder with a £725,000 bid.

The winner of the 570S Spider, painted in stunning Blade Silver, shall also be treated to a personal tour of the McLaren Technology Centre by Amanda McLaren, the only child of founder Bruce McLaren and a brand ambassador for McLaren Automotive.

Every pound of the £725,000 it raised will be going to Elton's foundation, which aims to create an AIDS-free future for everybody.

The ball took place last night at the entertainer's Woodshire home, with Graham Norton as master of ceremonies and Ed Sheeran performing. Among those in attendance were David Foster, Liz Hurley, and Victoria Beckham.
