''The Band'' to Raise Funds For The EJAF

Written by Chief Editor.

A gala performance of Take That musical The Band is set to be held in London for the Elton John AIDS Foundation at the Theatre Royal Haymarket.

On the fourth of December, the seats of the stalls at the theatre will be removed and replaced with dining tables for a black-tie dinner which will include a performance of the musical, and an appearance by Take That. Seats will also be available for the show in the circles.

The musical opens in London for a six-week West End run following a UK tour which opened in Manchester in September 2017.

100% of the profits will be donated to the EJAF.

The Band tells the story of four adult friends who reunite to see their favourite childhood boyband in concert 25 years after their last gig, and stars Rachel Lumberg, Alison Fitzjohn, Emily Joyce and Jayne McKenna, plus Let It Shine winners, AJ Bentley, Nick Carsberg, Curtis T Johns, Yazdan Qafouri, and Sario Solomon.

It  features Take That’s biggest hits, and sees writing duo Gary Barlow and Tim Firth return to the West End after they brought their show The Girls to the Phoenix Theatre last year.

The Band is at the Theatre Royal Haymarket from December 1 through the 12th of January.
