Elton's sons will have the honour to lead out the Watford team alongside captain Troy Deeney for the FA Cup final at Wembley against Manchester City this weekend.
The big game will mark Watford's first appearance in cup final since 1984 when Elton was the club's chairman.
The Hornets' Honorary Life President will, however, be absent on the day due to his commitments in Denmark, but his sons will proudly take on the duties of leading the team onto the pitch. Elijah is six, while his brother Zachary, who is eight years old, plays for the Watford Academy team.
As noted previously, Watford goalkeeper Ben Foster has urged Elton to cancel his Copenhagen concert, in order to attend the team's FA Cup final against Manchester City on May 18.
"It's no dilemma. He should cancel right now," Foster declared.
"I have loads of people I know who have weddings for that day and stuff. It is their own fault -- don't book a wedding in the summer for Cup final day."
