The cast of comedy Schitt’s Creek met Sir Elton in Italy as they holidayed together recently.
The Netflix stars, including Dan Levy, Annie Murphy, Emily Hampshire, Sarah Levy, and Noah Reid dropped by Piazza Napoleone in Lucca on the 7th of July to watch Elton and his band. And they got a chance to backstage to meet the man himself. Emily wrote online: ‘'I don’t think even Bernie Taupin could find to words to express how great last night was.'' She also called him ''the loveliest man'' and said his performance ''slayed us all.''
Holly Willoughby also attended the Lucca Summer Festival.
The 38-year-old, a presenter at ITV's This Morning, jetted to Italy on Friday with husband Dan Baldwin and spent Sunday at the Lucca Summer Festival watching the music legend.
Holly said she had a brilliant time and that Elton even dedicated a song to her and husband Dan Baldwin.
She excitedly revealed: ‘'Dan and I have a favourite lyric in I Guess That’s Why They Call It The Blues.
''I told Elton that and didn’t think anything of it, and then when we went to see the concert Elton goes, 'I’m dedicating this song to Holly and Dan.' ''
On May 30th, Julia Roberts was seen in Verona, while shooting a new commercial for Italian brand Calzedonia. The night before, Julia attended Elton’s Farewell Yellow Brick Road show with her team.
