Star-Studded Fundraiser Considered to be The Best British Gig Ever

Written by Chief Editor.

Live Aid's 1985 concert where Elton, Freddie Mercury, David Bowie, U2 and other lights performed to an audience of 1.9 billion people across 150 countries, has been voted as the best British gig of all time; many fans say they wish they'd seen it live.

According to research by StubHub UK, music lovers also wish they'd seen the Beatles' last performance on the roof of Apple Studios in 1969. That was #2 on the list.

Further down is Adele’s 2016 Glastonbury performance live (8th place), as well as Eminem's 2001 performance at the MEN Arena (9th place) and the Sex Pistols on the River Thames in 1977 (#10).
