Vinyl sales were up 14.6 percent in 2018 with 16.8 million LPs sold and last year marked the 13th consecutive year of growth for the format since Nielsen Music started tracking sales in 1991.
Following the trend, Walmart has expanded its vinyl alternatives, both online and in-store. Among the offerings is Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. It's available in the classic version as well as an ''exclusive'' double LP picture disc.
The other vinyl titles are:
Diamonds and One Night Only (two collections of hits); Sleeping With The Past; Captain Fantastic & The Brown Dirt Cowboy; Don't Shoot Me, I'm Only The Piano Player; Songs From The West Coast; Madman Across The Water; Tumbleweed Connection; Honky Chateau; Rock of The Westies; The Thom Bell Sessions; Too Low For Zero; and Revamp: Reimagining The Songs of Elton John And Bernie Taupin (with various artists).
