Elton thanked her for her ''unflinching leadership'' and shared an illustration of the 87-year-old along with one of her quotes: ''Fight for things you care about but do it in a way that will lead others to join you.''
President Trump said Ginsburg led an amazing life and called the justice ''a fighter to the end.''
Former President Jimmy Carter considered her to be a ''beacon of justice,'' while former Vice President Joe Biden said, ''She was fierce and unflinching in her pursuit of civil rights for everyone.''
Conan O'Brien, who learned of Ginsburg's passing from his daughter Neve, acknowledged his sadness. But he was also grateful his daughter could ''see first hand how much intelligent, brave women can change the world.''
Dolly Parton noted that she was ''small in stature, but even the tallest looked up to her. Her voice was soft but her message rang loud and clear and will echo forever.''
