Tower Records, which closed its doors 14 years ago, was known for attracting visitors like Dave Grohl, Bette Midler, and Bruce Springsteen. But its most famous patron was Elton, for whom the Hollywood outlet would open early.
Now the company is back, in a new incarnation, as an online service. Besides selling merchandise, Tower Records will host a number of online events.
This also marks the return of the chain's Pulse! magazine, containing artist interviews and album reviews.
