Heritage Offerings Range From Early Concert Poster to Elton And Minnie Mouse Storyboards

Written by Chief Editor.

How would you like to own a boxing-style poster advertising Elton in concert at the Convention Center Arena in Fresno, California from 1971? Or a Billboard ad promoting Elton and Rocket Records with the pop luminary's autograph?

Bids are now being accepted at ha.com, the Web site for Heritage Auctions. There's also a pair of print outs signed by Elton and Billy Joel. One is a print out of the Captain Fantastic & The Brown Dirt Cowboy cover; the other consists of the other piano man's Turnstiles cover. There are 18 days left to bid.
A couple of more EJ items are to be sold by Heritage later this month. They are: an illustrated album poster for Don't Shoot Me I'm Only The Piano Player, and Elton John and Minnie Mouse storyboards. The latter is from the 1988 TV special, Totally Minnie, during which the Walt Disney character and the former Reg Dwight performed Don't Go Breaking My Heart together. It's described as ''an incredibly fun collection of full-colour storyboards featuring these two iconic performers.''
