The author of Tin Pan Alley: The Rise of Elton John and From Tin Pan Alley to The Yellow Brick Road is now working on another book.
This one is ''a history of Bluesology,'' says Keith Hayward. So readers will learn of the group's experiences through those were there. These include band members, club owners, and DJS.
Keith also spoke with the lead singer of the Paper Dolls, a trio who appeared onstage with Elton's ensemble.
Other highlights are to include Bluesology's work with Little Richard (supporting him at one gig as well as recording with the star) and musician/producer Jimmy Horowitz's story of recording his then-wife Lesley Duncan's first album, Sing Children Sing, featuring guests like Elton, Ray Cooper, and Chris Spedding.
If anyone who was close to Bluesology wants to contribute, they are welcome to leave Keith a comment on his Facebook page.
