A program showing the late Australian promoter, Michael Gudinski, with friends like Elton, Kylie Minogue, Leonard Cohen, Molly Meldrum, Madonna, and Billy Joel, has been taken off eBay.
Former employees at Michael's Mushroom Group slammed the seller online. The program, from his state memorial last month, was shaped like a double vinyl album and also featured photos of Gudinski with his family. It had received 15 bids and reached $200, according to the Daily Mail.
The ''father of the Australian music industry'' was 68 when he died. He played a vital role in bringing international acts to Australia and New Zealand since the late seventies.
Elton and Bruce Springsteen were among the artists whose pre-recorded messages were played at the state funeral, held at Melbourne's Rod Laver Arena.
