Two Extra Trains to Help EJ Concertgoers Get Home From Ipswich Show

Written by Chief Editor.

Greater Anglia has announced it's to run extra trains to coincide with the Elton John concert at Portman Road in Ipswich.

They'll run two extra trains to take concert-goers home on Saturday, the 17th of June.

An extra train will run from Ipswich to Norwich at 23.15 and from Ipswich to London Liverpool Street at 23.18.

James Reeve, Greater Anglia's Area Customer Service Manager, remarked:

“We know that Elton John’s concert is going to be hugely popular, so we wanted to make sure that fans could get home safely afterwards. I’m very happy that we’ve been able to put on two extra trains to coincide with the end of the concert. We will be using all of our available trains and carriages, but we are still expecting trains to be very busy on the night.”
