A charity supporting people with learning disabilities was delighted when offered the opportunity to watch the Golden Boys from the comfort of Watford’s Sir Elton John Suite.
Representatives from Care Management Group  enjoyed the fine hospitality on offer at Vicarage Road when kindly offered a table-of-six for Watford’s match against Leicester City by Matchball Sponsor MK Ginder & Sons.
They were treated to a pre-match three-course meal and half-time refreshments, as well as a complimentary team-sheet and match programme, and free tea and coffee for the duration of their visit; all this in addition to watching all the match action unfold from their superb Upper Rous seats.
First-team squad members Connor Smith, Bernard Mensah and Luke O’Nien also popped over before kick-off to meet the group and pose for photographs.
Amanda Milone, of CMG, said: “On behalf of Care Management Group and the guys who went to the match in the Sir Elton John Suite, what a fantastic day we had – apart from the result!
“Everybody at Watford FC really looked after us and we enjoyed every moment. The guys, who are not usually so fortunate, had an amazing time and especially enjoyed meeting some of the players. A huge thank you once again.”
Now in its 11th season as the Hornets’ official Matchball Sponsor, MK Ginder & Sons frequently offers use of its table on matchdays at The Vic to local charities and good causes in Watford and across Hertfordshire. The locally-based organisation is very pro-active in working within the community.
CMG is a non-profit making which provides care and support to children and adults with a wide spectrum of learning disabilities and associated complex needs.
