A gala ball in aid of the Sunni Mae Trust was held on January 25th.
 
 
The Tiny Dancer Ball was at Galway’s Salthill Hotel.

This Black Tie Ball offered a a mulled wine reception on arrival, three course meal with a glass of wine, live entertainment from the Lewd Tunes and dancing until late with DJ Mal Haynes.

The Sunni Mae Trust is the charity established to fund the treatment of Lily-Mae Morrison, the six-year-old Claregalway girl, who was diagnosed in 2012 with Neuroblastoma, a rare and aggressive form of childhood cancer.
 
The Tiny Dancer Ball 2014 raised €6,752.13 for the Trust.
 
As EJW readers may recall, Elton and Bernie Taupin‘s Tiny Dancer was sung by a chorus of 250 people from throughout Ireland. This resulted in over 65,000 copies being sold.
 
What’s more, it reached No. 1 on iTunes in four countries.
