On January 31, 2008, Elton will do a 45 minute set on his red piano at the Dorchester in London.

Unfortunately, tickets aren’t being sold publicly.

Elton will be appearing at an event called Liv to help find a cure for cystic fibrosis. The proceeds will be split between the Cystic Fibrosis Trust in the UK and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in the U.S., both of whom are carrying out vital pioneering research into a cure.

The evening will be hosted by football’s Thierry Henry and presented by TV’s Davina McCall. There will be a sit down dinner, auction and comedy set by Jimmy Carr.

Tables of 10 are being sold at £10,000 and to become a patron which includes a premium table it will cost £25,000 for a table of 10. Tickets are being sold only by private invitation.

However, donations are welcome.
