An Oklahoma City quintets debut, Extreme Behavior, has become a platinum-selling CD.

What’s more, Hinder was originally booked to play Boston’s Axis, according to the Herald. But the hard rock band quickly sold out the small club. Then the show was moved to the much bigger Avalon (where they played on Sunday) only to quickly sell out again.

And a rumour that Elton suggested to Guns N’ Roses‘ manager that the group go on the road with Hinder probably didn’t hurt.

The guys, who signed with Universal Records after receiving offers from three labels, have worked with Three Doors Down, and will do some dates with Aerosmith next month.
