Brokeback Mountain walked away with the most honours at last night’s Golden Globe awards.

Ang Lee won for Best Director, while the film also was voted Best Movie (Drama) and got singled out for having the finest screenplay.

And Best Original Song went to the writers of A Love That Will Never Grow Old, Gustavo Santaolalla and Bernie Taupin.

At the ceremony, which was held at the Beverly Hilton, Bernie said he was thrilled that Emmylou Harris sang his composition, and he paid tribute to Martin Luther King Day by dedicating his award to the civil rights pioneer.

Unfortunately, A Love That Will Never Grow Old isn’t eligible for an Oscar because its presence in the flick is limited.
