Elton’s lyricist Bernie Taupin will moderate Songwriters in the Round Generations Volume 1,at the annual New York fundraiser for the VH1 Save The Music Foundation on November 20, 2002, at the Bottom Line in Manhattan.
The all-star line-up for this intimate evening of acoustic performances on The Bottom Line stage includes Jewel, Jimmy Jam, The Neptunes (Chad Hugo and Pharrell Walker), and Rob Thomas, lead singer of Matchbox 20.
All of the artists will discuss with Taupin their songwriting methods and perform two of their favorite songs that they have written and one song that they wish they had written.
Tickets for the fundraiser include admission to the after-party at Flow on 150 Varick Street. Tickets are limited for this exclusive benefit event and are $750.00 each and can only be ordered by calling New York 212/846-7882.
