According to the Daily Mail, a Russian billionaire spent than $4 million to have Elton and Mariah Carey perform at his teenage granddaughter’s lavish London wedding.
Elton did a dozen songs, including Tiny Dancer, which he decided to the bride.
Carey and John are believed to have been paid millions for their performances at the nine-hour wedding on Saturday at London’s Landmark Hotel, where Irene Kogan tied the knot with Daniel Kevey.
Guests enjoyed a nine-course meal with yellow fin tuna tartare and roasted fillet of dry-aged beef.
The night was capped with a set by DJ Mark Ronson.
Irene’s grandfather, Valery Kogan, is one of Russia’s wealthiest men and owns Moscow’s Domodedovo Airport.
