Burberry’s holiday ad this year featured names including Elton, Naomi Campbell, Julie Waters and Romeo Beckham, bouncing in slow motion in a tribute to the 15th anniversary of the film Billy Elliott.
Now, thanks to Google, any customer at the Burberry flagship store on Regent Street in London can appear in the short film as well.
Visitors can enter “The Burberry Booth powered by Google” and be filmed jumping, and then have the video spliced into a 15-second version of the ad.
The video is then emailed to the participant, who is encouraged to share it on YouTube and bring more attention to the Burberry brand. This runs through December 24.
