This Web site has had some articles about  A Voice Louder Than Rock, now called Louder Than Rock, which is based on the 2006 autobiography by the former Elton John band member (and written with Dale A. Berryhill).

Caleb was once called ”the best guitar player in the world” by none other than Eric Clapton.

The movie chronicles the musician’s journey from being a legendary rock sideman through the ’70s with the likes of Elton and Hall & Oates to launching a very different life in ministry.

The flick includes vintage clips of Caleb’s father, singer, multi-instrumentalist and bandleader Cab Kaye, who worked with jazz legends like Charlie Parker, Duke Ellington and Dizzy Gillespie.

It also features a number of interviews. They include Paul Buckmaster, who worked with Elton, as well as the Rocket Man’s longtime guitarist and musical director, Davey Johnstone.
