Forget the hype, check the site! There are plenty of people willing to tell you how coveted and sought-after the concert tickets are for Elton’s special shows with the Royal Academy of Music‘s orchestra in the UK’s Wembley and the NEC next summer.

Well, they are and they aren’t! Yes, tickets which went on sale a month ago are sold out totally for the Wembley gig on July 1, 2004, but there are still permium tickets available for Birmingham June 29, 2003 and reasonable tickets for the other two shows.

Where can you buy them? Well, you can go to Elton’s site, but you can also get very good deals elsewhere.

Try We did – just today!

The shows feature Elton and his band, plus the Royal Academy’s 108-piece student orchestra and 50-voices choir.

Songs expected to be performed include: Your Song, Saturday Night’s Alright, Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me, Circle of Life, and This Train Don’t Stop there Anymore.

It underlines the fact that, with so many Elton shows in different formats this year – Band, solo, orchestra, benefits, some fans cannot afford the tickets. But not all the prices have to be out of reach.

Listed below are available tickets as of December 30, 2003 on

Birmingham NEC:
