Text-to-Pledge, a leading mobile fundraising program, has now raised more than the $25 million for charities around the country. The milestone was surpassed during Text-to-Pledges‘ recent participation in the Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Award Viewing Party in Los Angeles in March.

Kim Kardashian and Heidi Klum were among those who made use of the Text-to-Pledges innovative mobile donation tool.

”Looking back, it seems like the jump from our first million raised to our first $25 million raised happened in the blink of an eye, said Sophist CEO Reed Baker. ”And based on our forecasting, $100 million raised for our charity partners will be eclipsed in a fraction of the time its taken us to hit the $25-million mark.”

Text-to-Pledge has consistently grown, despite a decrease in charitable donations over the last few years. Baker observed that with hundreds of notable campaigns on the horizon, Text-to-Pledge shows no sign of slowing down. In the first week of the 2014 spring gala season, Text-to-Pledge raised more than $800,000 over the course of four fundraising dinners, an event with Teach for America in San Francisco.
