After a stellar performance in its new location at New York City’s Pier 94 this past spring, the Association of International Photography Art Dealers (AIPAD) has announced that the 38th edition of The Photography Show will be held April 5-8, again at Pier 94.
More than 100 of the world’s leading fine art photography galleries will present a range of museum-quality work including contemporary, modern, and 19th century photographs, photo-based art, video, and new media.
And Elton John fans will be interested to learn that the musician has invited exhibiting AIPAD members to submit work for an exhibition around the theme, A Time for Reflection. Photographs that Elton finds inspiring and relevant to the theme will be featured at The Photography Show in a special display.
The works will be available for purchase and participating galleries will donate a percentage of the sale price to the Sir Elton John Charitable Trust.
