Cliff Richard turned 75 on Wednesday, and he celebrated by putting on a show at Royal Albert Hall. A number of friends also acknowledged the milestone.

Sir Cliff was joined by Olivia Newton-John, who led the crowd in a rendition of ‘Happy Birthday’ and presented the singer with a cake shaped as the number 75.

Video tributes were also played to the audience throughout the event, with Sir Elton and Brian May both recording special messages for their colleague.

The 75th birthday gig was taped and is set to be released on DVD in Great Britain before Christmas.
