As previously revealed, on April 6, Christie’s will auction off photographs to benefit the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

The event will be held at Rockefeller Center in New York City. It begins at 1 p.m.

Viewing times are as follows:

31st of March, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

April 1, 10 a.m.- 5 p.m.

2nd of April, 1 p.m.- 5 p. m.

April 3, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

April 4, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

5th of April, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Property Sold to Benefit the Elton John AIDS Foundation is a special collection of 25 photographs donated by renowned artists, estates and collectors.. All proceeds from the auction will benefit the EJAF, an international non-profit organisation the singer and philanthropist founded 25 years ago with the mission to end the AIDS epidemic.

This assortment includes works by acclaimed photographers from the early 20th century to the present day, such as Henri Cartier-Bresson, Irving Penn, and Cindy Sherman.

The entire catalogue can now be viewed on the auction house’s Web site, and includes a message of gratitude from Sir Elton.
