As part of The Radical Eye: Modernist Photography from the Sir Elton John Collection (Thursday November 10 to Sunday May 7) at London’s Tate Modern, Elton and David Furnish will be hosting a black-tie charity dinner and private view on Thursday, December 1, World AIDS Day.
Tickets for the 7 p.m. event start at £1,000. Held in association with Bulgari, the evening will benefit the Elton John AIDS Foundation and includes a reception in the foyer of the Radical Eye exhibition space, followed by a dinner in The Tanks – the area of Tate Modern that originally housed the oil tanks for Bankside Power Station and is now used for immersive performances and video art. The benefit, which runs until 2 a.m., concludes with an after party and performance by Craig David.
