When Elton was on Jay Leno's programme earlier this week, he claimed that the upcoming Disney picture, based on his life, would be a fantasy: Otherwise it might not make it past the censors.
But his first choice to play him as a young man, Justin Timberlake, had problems with the script, according to Contactmusic.com.
He objected when he found scenes of Elton's heavy partying missing. It had to be ''warts and all,'' or he wouldn't participate.
Now changes have been made, and Justin ''can't wait to start.''
