A musician nicknamed "the man with the golden flute," who has played for Elton and Eric Clapton, will play the Norton Center For The Arts in Danville, Kentucky.
The show is on March 7 at 8 p.m., featuring Sir James Galway, widely regarded as both a supreme interpreter of the classical flute repertoire and a consummate entertainer whose appeal crosses all musical boundaries. As the most televised and recorded classical artist performing today, Sir James has made himself a legend. He'll be accompanied by his wife, Lady Jeanne Galway, who performs with her husband regularly for special occasions such as a recent fundraising concert with Paul Simon and Stevie Wonder. For this particular concert commemorating the 250th anniversary of the birth of Mozart, Sir James and Lady Jeanne will be joined by the celebrated Polish Chamber Orchestra from Warsaw.
Tickets range from $36-$66, and can be procured by phoning 1-877-448-7469.
