Hollywood 100 Auction.
Anyone can bid from anywhere in the world. The live auction will take place on Saturday, June 17th beginning at 2:00 p.m. (PDT) at
Bonhams & Butterfields in their Hollywood galleries and will be live simultaneously on
eBay Live Auctions. This is the second bi-annual
Hollywood 100 sale to raise money for
Project Angel Food. This event attracts international attention with its very special offerings. In the first year,
Hollywood 100 had bidders from around the universe and sold many of the items to buyers in London, Paris and Berlin.
The Live auction will be conducted by
EdBeardsley, Auctioneer and General Manager of
Bonhams & Butterfields. He served as auctioneer at the inaugural
Hollywood 100 in 2004.
Bonhams & Butterfields has auctioned many Hollywood estates and memorabilia collections including property from
ElvisPresley,
Liberace,
SammyDavisJr.,
RaymondBurr and
JoanCrawford.
Project AngelFood hopes to raise over $300,000 from Hollywood 100. This is a non-profit organisation based in Hollywood with a mission to nourish the body and spirit of men, women and children affected by HIV/AIDS and other serious illnesses. Established in 1989,
Project Angel Food is the only free daily meal-delivery program serving all of Los AngelesCounty.
Project AngelFood has many celebrity supporters who donate in various ways, from donating money to delivering meals and helping in the kitchen.
