Middletons very own Billy Elliot is back in town after a successful two year stint in Londons West End, the Guardian has announced.
Travis Yates was just 12 years old when he was selected to play the lead role in Billy Elliot The Musical at the Victoria Palace Theatre.
And now, after taking part in an astonishing 130 shows which culminated in an emotional finale on Saturday night, Travis has returned to his hometown to complete his education.
During the two years Travis spent in London, he lived and trained at the Billy house with four other young lads also starring in the hit musical.
And despite a gruelling rehearsal schedule, Travis also got the chance to meet showbiz names like Simon Cowell, Lulu and David Hasselhoff, as well as the man who wrote the score for the show.
Travis added: "I had Sunday lunch at Eltons house. That was amazing.
"He had donkeys and a castle where the donkeys were kept. That was probably the best bit."
And he has even managed to get a fan following of his own.
After each performance hundreds of theatre-goers gathered to get autographs and a glimpse of the rising star - who has replied to every piece of fan mail he has received.
