As announced a while back, the first episodoe of Spectacle: Elvis Costello With . . . airs at 9 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on December 3 on the Sundance Channel.
Elton is the guest and he discusses artists who have impacted his life and career, including Leon Russell and Laura Nyro, with some candid and hilarious anecdotes along the way.
Elton sheds light on his long working relationship with Bernie Taupin, and the show also includes an amusing exchange about Elvis and Elton's real and stage names. In additon, the Rocket Man takes to the piano to demonstrate styles and influences and performs with the host. This is Elton and Elvis's first ever televised performance together.
