Songwriters Ed Hintze and Stuart Fretwell have composed a charity tune for Weymouths newest choir to sing, the Echo has reported.
The duo have written a track called Starlight Foundation in aid of a charity which makes the dreams of terminally and seriously ill children come true.
Members of Eds choir Dorset For Singing are set to perform the song at a concert to raise money for the charity.
Music teacher Ed, who was an EJ impersonator on the BBCs The One and Only, said it was a fantastic cause to support.
The Dorset For Singing choir has about 120 members, although about 80 to 90 attend rehearsals at All Saints School any one time.
Hintze launched the choir for anybody who wanted to sing and they are now practising for their end of year show on July 11.
The group performs pop melodies as well as more spiritual tracks.
Stuart, a former English instructor, first collaborated with his friend on a Christmas song.
Stuart sends lyrics to Ed, who then writes the music and records the pieces.
