Dance sensation Burn The Floor is to begin a limited engagement at Broadway's Longacre Theatre July 25, according to the show's official web site.
Tickets will be on sale through October 18. The production will offer performances Tuesday at 7 p.m., Wednesday-Saturday at 8 p.m. with matinees Wednesday and Saturday at 2 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m.
Dances range from salsa to swing, and the concept came about at one of Elton's birthday bashes.
The creator is producer Harley Medcalf.
Medcalf has said, "I wanted to create a showcase that is a fusion of the wonderful traditions of ballroom dancing, a combination of the sensuality, discipline and commitment of the dancers, with the technology, creativity and energy of a rock and roll production."
Burn the Floor features direction and choreography by Jason Gilkison.
Meanwhile, overseas in Bristol, a popular cabaret show is back in the city for its fifth year, performing their Mile High tour in Castle Park.
1Dressed in a variety of costumes, the Lady Boys of Bangkok dance, mime and sing their way through numbers from the likes of Elton and Katy Perry.
The show runs in Castle Park until June 20. Performances are 8 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 7 p.m. and 9.15 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 5 p.m. and 7.30 p.m. on Sunday.
Tickets cost £22 for adults.
