This Web site recently mentioned that the Cantos Music Foundations Ghosts of 100 Songs exhibit is currently at the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium's Alcove Gallery.

This is where the Alberta Ballet premiered their Love Lies Bleeding ballet, which Elton did not attend. However, the pianist's personal assistant, Mike Hewitson, and touring partner, Ray Cooper, came.

Meanwhile, Camie Leard, Manager of Marketing, Communications and Public Relations at Cantos, told EJW about organising the ''Ghosts'' display.

''We were inspired to take part as we have a very important piece of Elton Memorabilia his original songwriting piano on which his first 5 albums were composed.
''While we couldnt take the piano itself there, it is always on display here at Cantos and we extend a warm welcome to your readership to visit us for one of our tours.

''What you will find at the Alcove Gallery is a video presentation about the piano and some signed records, along with other Canadian music memorabilia and information about Cantos Music Foundation and our National Music Centre project.''
Incidentally, Cantos just held a concert with a diverse group of performers using the songwriting piano and interpreting songs from Eltons first five albums.
