Pop singer Elton John has been warned by Price Waterhouse that his multi-million dollar companies are in a cash crisis and their funds may dry up in eight weeks. PW has told John he can either stage some big shows, stage a private show for the Sultan of Brunei, arrange a new publishing deal or auction off some possessions to stave off a collapse.
Friends blame John's spending, including at Sotheby's and Christie's, for his financial woes. The four companies involved are William A. Bong, Happenstance, J Bondi and Big Pig Music; Diedre Stark.
