Elton recently signed London lawyers Frere Cholmely Bischoff to his account, and now the company is changing its name to Eversheds.
Law firm Eversheds' North-East England intellectual property (things like record contracts, etc) group has been strengthened by a merger with Frere Cholmely Bischoff, reported the Northern Echo newspaper August 19, 1998.
Frere Cholmely Bischoff already has a high Intellectual Property and entertainment law profile. As well as Elton, the company's clients include The Beatles.
