While there was much anticipation about Elton John's video for HM The Queen Elizabeth II's 50th Jubilee in the United Kingdom, some U.S. music fans got an early peep.
Viewers of both CBS and ABC networks got a sneak peek without realising it. Elton was filmed on location, speaking about the upcoming event and noting the importance of protocol.
After the concert, Kitty Kelley, author of The Royals, noted Queen Elizabeth's reaction. On CNN's Larry King Live, she stated that Elton is a royal family favourite . . . and that the queen was "visibly touched."
