David Bowie is being sued for £6million by the estate of the man who produced his smash hit Space Oddity.
The executors of Gus Dudgeon killed with his wife in an M4 car crash last year claim he was promised two per cent of royalties earned by Bowies 1969 classic.
But he was only paid a one-off £250 fee.
Bowies New York-based managers said they would strongly dispute the claim.
Gus told EJW.com in an exclusive interview just before his untimely death about plans to sue publishers of Bowie and Elton last July.
